“The preliminary assessment at this time is that in the fourth week the wind will clearly change direction. However, it must be said that at the end of May 2024 there will still be little rain even if we are entering the rainy season. At this point the Meteorological Department would like to understand with the people what the announcement of the rainy season is for. We follow the conditions of the wind direction as it changes. Namely, southwest winds blow over the country. and the wind at the upper level will change direction. When there is a signal like this, it is the beginning of the rainy season. So we have to make an announcement. Because sometimes, after the announcement, people have questions. Why hasn’t the rain come yet? Here we follow the conditions for entry into the season. Ms Kanwee added that in May 2024 there was still little rain and it should start to improve from June, July until the end of the rainy season in October 2024, that overall the rain was better than last year Because l Last year it rained a lot at the end of the season.
