On Tuesday, foreign diplomatic missions in Turkey published letters of condemnation regarding the shooting incident that occurred in front of the Palace of Justice building in Istanbul.
British Ambassador Jill Morris, in a blog post on the X platform, condemned the terrorist attack and all forms of terrorism.
Morris expressed her condolences to the families of the victims and her wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.
In turn, the German Embassy expressed in a blog post on the X platform its strong condemnation of the terrorist attack, offered its condolences to the victim and wished a speedy recovery for the wounded.
European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Affairs, Oliver Varhelyi, also condemned the attack in a blog post on the X platform.
He said in the post, “The European Union stands with Turkey in its war against terrorism,” expressing his wishes for a speedy recovery for the wounded.
For his part, the Ukrainian ambassador condemned the terrorist attack, wished a speedy recovery for the wounded, and offered his condolences to the Turkish people.
On Tuesday, two terrorists from the far-left organization DHKB/C opened fire in front of the Palace of Justice building in the European part of Istanbul, killing a civilian and wounding 6 people, including 3 police officers, before the security forces were able to neutralize the terrorists.
