MANAMA > The 6th Bahrain International Airshow will begin on Wednesday at the Sakhir Air Center. The three day airshow is an opportunity to see one of the best displays of aircraft in the Middle East. Aerobatic display teams, military aircraft, historic and modern aircraft will be organized in the aerial wonderland. 100 military and non-military representatives from different parts of the world will take part in the three-day air show.
Around 120 companies from the aviation industry will take part in the show, which will be held in an area of 14,000 square metres. Apart from Bahrain, there will be five country pavilions. The Air Show provides an opportunity to present leading companies in the field of aviation in the region. Many Saudi and UAE companies will also participate.
The organizers said that all the preparations for the Air Shock have not been completed. Family area tickets have also been introduced for families to come and enjoy the air show. A public parking facility has been prepared at the Bahrain International Circuit. From there, shuttle buses will take you to the airshow location.
The family area zone will operate between 10 am and 6 pm. Apart from enjoying aerobatic performances, the heritage village, live music programme, food festival, rides etc. are all organized in the family area.
The air show also includes a variety of entertainment programs such as art performances by local Bahraini artists, face painting for children and games with the participation of cartoon characters.
