“COVID-19, should I get the COVID-19 vaccine again?”

All vaccines are useful. And there may be side effects: for example, the injectable (oral) polio vaccine, which has been used for more than 50 years, still has side effects. It is a live attenuated vaccine. When administered, the vaccine itself can cause muscle wasting, resulting in polio. But the chance is one in a million. But if you don’t take the drops, your chances of getting polio and contracting polio are much higher. We played together all the time. until the disease is almost gone. Until now, the polio virus has been greatly reduced. Therefore, we are trying to change the oral polio vaccine (live virus) to the injectable one (inactivated virus) because the vaccine has no chance of transmitting polio to children.
As with the Covid-19 vaccine, it will depend on the situation. In the past, in the first year, if someone got infected with COVID-19, the chance of it getting into the lungs was very high. It is even fatal in 3-5% compared to the side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine which are very minor. As a result, the COVID-19 vaccine has helped save many lives.
The current situation has changed, and if infected with COVID-19 this year, the chance of death could be one in a thousand or less. The need for vaccination is therefore concentrated on high-risk groups. or vulnerable groups who, if infected with COVID, can be very life-threatening.
