“The Child I Pushed” Launches Live-Action Film and Series: Cast Revealed

Weekly Women’s PRIME magazine broke the news today (25th) that “[The Child I Pushed]”([[Pushing Child]]) is launching a live-action film adaptation and an Amazon Prime live-action series around mid-December, reporters spotted the crew filming in progress. The cast list and corresponding roles are:

Ai Hoshino/Ai Ko: Asuka Saito

Manami Hoshino/Akya: Umion Sakurai

Rui Hoshino/Ruby: Nagisa Saito

Kana Arima: Nanohana Hara

Producer Toei said he had “no comment” on the media revelations.

Submission of works

began “[The Child I Pushed]” was serialized in Shueisha Weekly Young Jump in April 2020. After the anime adaptation was released in April this year, it gained widespread popularity. The second season is still in the production stage.

The plot describes Goro Amamiya, a doctor in a rural hospital. His favorite idol “Ai” (Ai Hoshino) is actually seeking treatment from him because of her pregnancy! Although shocked at first, Goro finally decided to calm down and help her do a prenatal check, promising to protect the safety of the mother and child.

However, before Xiao Ai gave birth, Goro was pushed off the cliff by Esuke’s fan. When Goro opened his eyes, he found that he had been reincarnated as one of Xiao Ai’s children…
