‘After shooting all the fights we were shown an edited rough cut. After seeing that, Kamal Sir came closer and said that you have done well. I shook his hand and thanked him. I’m gone for five seconds. Kamal came home and kept saying that he had congratulated me.
My first shot was of Kamal being lifted up and put to bed. I was burning in that scene. It must come in the correct form. Because Kamal Sar is a legend. I still can not believe it’s a dream.
I was really beating up everyone who came to the fight. For the first time, he told them to adjust. During the fight, he could not hold his fork in his hand and tie his hair. But the director kept telling me to do it anyway. Then I got excited too. I did it somehow, ‘said Vasanthi.
