Choi Chun-shik, a member of the National Assembly’s Administrative Safety Committee, said on the 27th that, as a result of analyzing data received from the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 94% of COVID-19 confirmed patients were vaccinated.
According to the analysis result, it was found that 7,229,768 people, or 94.4% of the 7,661,421 total COVID-19 confirmed cases (12 years old and older), received the vaccine at least once during the last 4 weeks (3.6-4.2).
Looking at the number of vaccinations, among the confirmed cases of COVID-19, those who completed the 3rd vaccination accounted for the most at 62.5% (4,79717 people).
Those who completed the second inoculation (30.6%, 2,346,321 people), those who completed the first inoculation (1%, 76,542 people), and those who completed the fourth inoculation (0.2%, 16,188 people) were in order.
Rep. Choi said, “People have the right and freedom not to get vaccinated with false side effects. The government should never force the people to vaccinate, no matter what kind of pandemic comes in the future.”
Rep. Choi has been openly arguing that vaccines are useless. At an internal countermeasures meeting on the 5th, he said, “Even if any pandemic comes again, vaccination should be completely left to the individual’s autonomy, and at the same time, social distancing should be dealt with by thoroughly performing individual unit quarantine.”
Regarding wearing a mask, he insisted, “As the corona fatality rate has been lowered to the level of a cold, wearing a mask is no longer meaningful indoors or outdoors.”
