Seoul = Yonhap News: In a poignant diary left behind by a Russian soldier who tragically lost his life on the front lines, the fervent desire for peace shines through. “I don’t want to kill anyone. I hope we don’t kill them and they don’t kill us,” wrote Vitaly Taktasev, whose diary was unveiled last year following a mobilization order issued by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to The Times Sunday Times, a British daily, the author of this deeply moving diary entry was Vitaly Taktasev, a 31-year-old construction worker hailing from Moscow. Taktasev, a dedicated family man who married in 2018 and has a two-year-old son, led a simple and content life until the eruption of the Russian attack on Ukraine in February of last year.

In response to the escalating armed conflict, the Russian government issued a partial mobilization order for reserve troops in September of the same year. Two months later, Taktasev found himself stationed on the Tokmak Front in Zaporozhye, Ukraine, along with 300,000 mobilized Russian soldiers.

Over the course of his deployment from November to January, Taktasev poured his heartfelt thoughts into a diary, chronicling 33 pages of his life on the battlefield. In his letters to his family, he expressed a mix of emotions and shared the realities of war.

(Seoul = Yonhap News) “I don’t want to kill anyone. I hope we don’t kill them and they don’t kill us.”

Last year, the mobilization order of Russian President Vladimir Putin published a diary left as a souvenir of a Russian soldier who was sent to the front line and died.

According to the British Daily The Times Sunday Times on the 22nd (local time), the protagonist who wrote this diary was Vitaly Taktasev (31), a construction worker who lived in Moscow.

Taktasyev, who married in 2018 and has a two-year-old son, was an ordinary father who went to work and spent time with his family on holidays until about a year and a half ago.

His life changed significantly after the Russian attack on Ukraine in February last year, which erupted in the biggest armed conflict in Europe since the Second World War.

The Russian government issued a partial mobilization order for reserve troops in September of the same year, and Taktasyev was commissioned on the Tokmak Front in Zaporozhye, Ukraine, in November, two months later.

At that time, 300,000 Russians were mobilized as Taktachev.

From this time until the beginning of January this year, Taktasyov wrote letters to his family in a notebook and recorded 33 pages of his life on the battlefield in the form of a diary.

Let’s see it in the video.
