[이데일리 김가영 기자] Han Seo-hee, a former celebrity trainee, was recently accused of ‘defamation’ and ‘obscene use of communication media’ after revealing her KakaoTalk conversation with male actor A. Han Seo-hee (Photo = SNS) On the 8th, Money Today reported Kim So-yeon A complaint was filed with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency on behalf of a lawyer (Will Law Office), and the complaint stated that Han Seo-hee’s charges were ‘violation of the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes (obscenity in the use of communication media)’ and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. It was reported that it was flagged as ‘violation (defamation)’ etc.
Previously, Han Seo-hee captured and shared the contents of a KakaoTalk conversation believed to have been had with male actor A of the same age in the so-called ‘solitary room’ open chat room where she was active. In the capture, Han Seo-hee suggested to Mr. A that they go to a hotel together, and in response to Mr. A’s question, “What are you going to do when you go?”, she replied, “Let’s order room service and have dinner.” It contains the words, ‘If not, let’s do XX.’
Regarding the contents of this KakaoTalk, the accuser said, “It was a conversation in which the defendant (Han Seo-hee) solicited sex from Mr. A, and when the reply to this was delayed, he threatened her by asking, ‘Do you want to die?’ and Mr. A replied, ‘Why are you talking so scary?’ He said, “I sent a message to Mr. A saying, ‘Let’s do X,’ and sent him words that caused sexual shame or disgust, and threatened him with enough harm to cause fear because of the delay in responding.” explained. She also pointed out that she had damaged Mr. A’s reputation by sharing the conversation in an open chat room where an unspecified number of people could view it.
The accuser said, “When the controversy arose, Mr. Han claimed that it was in fact a ‘self-made play’, but it was confirmed that a photo that appeared to be of a suite at the Chosun Palace Hotel was actually posted on his Instagram on November 30th of last year, the day the chat was said to have taken place. “The information appears to be true under various circumstances,” he said, adding, “Victim A suffered great, irreversible damage due to the spread of rumors that she was in a deep relationship with Mr. Han, a drug offender, to the point where they even had sexual relations.”
Han Seo-hee is an aspiring celebrity who made her name known by appearing on MBC’s ‘Great Birth Season 3’. In 2017, she was sentenced to three years in prison and four years probation for inhaling marijuana. During this process, she caused a stir when it was revealed that she had smoked marijuana with Big Bang’s T.O.P. She was later charged with drug use twice more and was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison in July 2022.
