Date 5 July 2022 meteorological department Announcement of “Strong waves in the upper Andaman Sea (affecting until 6 July 2022)” No. 5 states that the relatively strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand, causing relatively strong wind waves in the upper Andaman Sea.
