The Moto Edge 30 Pro may make you give up on the OnePlus 10 Pro!

The Motorola Moto Edge 30 Pro arrived at my house today and has been very impressive so far! It’s immediately noticeable that it’s a really fast locker we have and handle, and it’s crazy that my first thought was how Moto “only” 7990 kroner on the model was crazy. Sure, the company has compromised a bit, but in many respects it isn’t.

I really like the way the model is in hand. The model I received is a variant with two colors, not just one color on the back! It’s about the back of the model that goes black and blue. Also, the model has a flat screen, which makes it easy to use. The Edge 30 Pro is called Edge 30+ in the US, and compared to its predecessor, I think Moto did exactly the right thing with a flat-panel display!

It’s really cool. Also, no fingerprints!

So what about the elephant in the room? Of course it’s the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This is the first model I tested with this processor after the OnePlus 10 Pro I imported directly. Motorola itself says that the Edge 30 Pro, like other media, should be very fast. OnePlus has always had incredibly fast smartphones, so it was perfect to already have a OnePlus 10 Pro. I have to say that the Motorola feels a little sharper in terms of speed. It’s hard to say at first if it’s because Motorola opted for a cleaner version of Android over my OnePlus 10 Pro running (running OxygenOS) or simply because of better software optimizations. But I think the model gets sick quickly and is good enough to switch to an Edge 30 Pro in the future!

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro feels like a very well-made smartphone and I really like what I’ve seen so far. Now the camera has to go through rigorous testing and press the battery down to see what it can do. You can see the full test in the coming weeks!
