The Jachu Committee intends to decide on the final candidate for CEO of Woori Bank after conducting detailed interviews with Lee and CEO Cho on the 26th, including the presentation of a management plan.

Lee, a former merchant banker, served as head of Woori Bank’s future strategy department, general manager of Woori Financial Group’s new business, vice president of business growth, and executive vice president of Woori Bank’s sales general manager group. In the personnel and organizational reorganization of Woori Bank, which took place before and after the inauguration of Chairman Lim Jong-ryong of Woori Financial Group, he was appointed head of the domestic sales department and head of the individual group.

CEO Cho, also from a former commercial bank, was appointed CEO of Woori Financial Capital in March after serving as Woori Bank’s Compliance Officer (Assistant Executive Vice President), Executive Vice President of the Management Planning Group, and Vice- Executive president of the Corporate Group.
