The price of gold rose today, Friday, in the middle of trading, and the gram increased by 10 pounds, compared to its level at the beginning of trading, according to what Naguib Naguib, former Secretary General of the Gold Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy.
The price of a gram of gold had stabilized at 3,110 pounds per gram of 21 karat at the beginning of today’s trading.
Gold prices today
14 karat gold prices rose to 2073 pounds per gram.
The price of 18 carat gold rose to 2666 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 carat gold reached 3,110 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 karat gold increased to 3554 pounds per gram.
The price of the gold pound
The price of the gold pound rose to 24,880 pounds, and the price may vary from one merchant to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.
Gold price globally
The price of gold rose globally to about $2,346 per ounce (an ounce is equivalent to about a gram of 24 karat gold), during midday trading on Friday, an increase of 0.60%, according to the latest update of Bloomberg data.
