The exchange rate of the US dollar against the pound, this morning, Tuesday, April 16, 2024, witnessed a state of stability and calm in Egyptian banks as well as the black market, after the rise in the dollar “buying and selling” during yesterday’s transactions, the first working day after the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
This rise comes 40 days after the Central Bank of Egypt’s decision, issued on March 6, to liberalize the exchange rate of the pound against all foreign currencies in all government and private banks and exchange shops.
