It has been revealed that Apple’s iPhone ranks 1 to 7 in the world’s best-selling smartphones last year.

According to the market research company Counterpoint Research on the 22nd, the basic Apple iPhone 14, released in September 2022, was first in global smartphone sales last year with a market share of 3.9%.

This was followed by the iPhone 14 Pro Max (2.8%) and the iPhone 14 Pro (2.4%), and the 2021 iPhone 13 (2.2%), which saw double-digit sales growth in Japan and India, came fourth. iPhone 15 Pro Max (1.7%), iPhone 15 Pro (1.4%), and iPhone 15 (1.4%) were 5th, 6th, and 7th. In the fourth quarter of last year, these products ranked 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, respectively.

Counterpoint Research explained, “Despite the sluggish sales of its competitors, Apple recorded a stable sales volume thanks to a growing market share in the Indian, Middle Eastern and North African markets.”

Meanwhile, Apple’s global smartphone market share last year was 19%, narrowly surpassing Samsung Electronics (19%) and rising to first place for the first time.
