The total number of people hospitalized after eating Tram Anh chicken rice increased to 345 cases

Khanh Hoa Department of Health recorded a total of 345 people hospitalized due to suspected poisoning after eating Tram Anh chicken rice (Nha Trang), including patients positive for Salmonella bacteria.

According to the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa province, as of this afternoon, this is the number of victims of poisoning related to Tram Anh chicken rice restaurant (Nha Trang) recorded and statistically recorded by the Department of Health. Of these, 201 people are being treated at hospitals and medical centers. Mild cases are being monitored at home.

Regarding treatment, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Health, Mr. Trinh Ngoc Hiep, said that the unit has instructed hospitals to treat poisoning patients in the direction of infection and gastrointestinal poisoning caused by the agent Salmonella Group. .

Regarding the poisoning case, Vinmec General Hospital tested two patients with suspected poisoning from eating at Tram Anh chicken rice restaurant. As a result, these two cases tested positive for Salmonella bacteria – the main cause of intestinal infections. Currently, the two patients are in stable health and are expected to be discharged tomorrow.

Thus, in recent days, hundreds of people have been hospitalized with symptoms of vomiting, abdominal pain, repeated diarrhea, and fever after eating Tram Anh chicken rice, on Ba Trieu street, Nha Trang.

Currently, this restaurant is temporarily suspended from operation. Test results of food samples and medical samples from poisoning patients are not yet available.
