Russia has seized the initiative in the Black Sea, stated the speaker of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Dmitry Pletenchuk. During the broadcast on Espresso, he emphasized that we can now talk about a positive trend in the actions of the defenders in this sector of the front.
“In this case, initiative means a lot, since it becomes possible to impose one’s own conditions for conducting hostilities,” Pletenchuk said, adding that every ship that appears in the Black Sea under the Russian flag is a legitimate target.
The military man added that it is difficult to make forecasts for 2024, because Russians adapt and respond to new challenges. Therefore, the Defense Forces will have to plan everything more coherently and in more detail.
