Expanding beyond Margaret River, the Burch Family also ventured into the Great Southern region, known for its cooler climate. Flint Rock Shiraz 2017

Howard Park Flint Rock Shiraz Great Southern WA 2017: Cool Shiraz like Pinot. Noir and Chardonnay which all come from the same area Fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged for 15 months in French oak barrels, 20% new oak, 80% old oak.

Bright garnet red color with aromas of ripe fruit, plum, black cherry, blackberry, raspberry, minerals, vanilla, chocolate, cocoa powder, mocha coffee, spicy herbs, and… Black pepper, licorice, clove, creamy, refreshing acidity, soft tannins, smoky oak, finished with fruit, spicy, herbal, vanilla. Vintage is ripe and ready to drink. It’s a very good chilled shiraz………19/20 points

Miami Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
