In today’s national examination by the Education Committee, a new suspicion of ‘falsification’ of Kim’s thesis was raised.
In addition to the dissertation previously suspected of plagiarism, it was claimed that Mrs. Kim has copied a dissertation from a completely different field.

A paper written by three people including Seol Mo in 2008 and published in the Journal of the Korean Physical Education Association and a paper presented in 2009 by Kun-hee Kim in the Korean Society of Design Trends.
Although the areas are completely different, the title ‘Impact on satisfaction of using a golf driving range and redemption factors’ has changed to ‘Digital Content’ only.
The number of study subjects is also the same, namely 290.
However, in the ‘Golf Driving Range’ thesis, there were 182 men and 108 women.
In Kim’s thesis, there were 108 men and 182 women.
The numbers by age group are the same, only the order has changed.
‘Real Estate Advertising’ thesis 2005 and ‘Dance Performance’ thesis 2008 written by different authors.
The research topics and figures that appear in these papers appear as they do in the ‘design’ related papers written by Kun-hee Kim in 2009.
Seo Dong-yong, a member of the Education Committee of the Democratic Party of Korea’s National Assembly, raised suspicions that Mrs Kim was copying other people’s papers.

“It is a fake paper that has been falsified as if it had conducted an experimental study that was not completely fake, beyond a plagiarized paper that was used or partially modified without acknowledging the source.”
Representative Seo argued that it was necessary to check whether Mrs. Kim the papers as research results.
Two professors who were commissioned by MBC to review the thesis also said that there appeared to be a possibility of research denial.

“This is the first time I’ve ever seen a complete copy of a paper from another field. It’s really hard to get experimental results that are so similar.”
Members of People’s Power argued that the discussion itself was meaningless, saying, “Mrs. Kim was not in a public position at the time.”
The Ministry of Education replied, “The responsibility for verifying an individual’s thesis lies with the academic society that published the thesis,” and the presidential office did not take a position.
