Tinubu Hails Governors’ Loyalty, Commissions Projects in Nasarawa Visit

President Bola⁢ Ahmed Tinubu ‌lauded ⁢Nigerian governors for their dedication ‌to⁢ the Renewed Hope Agenda during an official visit to Nasarawa State on Wednesday. The visit highlighted the strategic role the state plays​ in the nation’s ⁤development.

Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State,along with conventional and political leaders,warmly welcomed Tinubu. Governors from Kaduna, Borno, Imo, Ogun, Kwara, and Benue states also ‌attended.

Tinubu expressed gratitude to the governors for their support as he assumed office in May 2023.He emphasized that their backing has⁤ been⁣ vital in advancing⁢ the Renewed Hope Agenda, which focuses on economic revival, security enhancement, and‌ improved living standards for Nigerians. Tinubu assured Nasarawa’s government⁤ and residents of continued⁤ support‍ for developmental initiatives, particularly in⁢ solid minerals and agriculture. he‍ recognized Nasarawa’s significant role in⁣ Nigeria’s mineral wealth and food production, underscoring ‍the state’s importance ‌to the nation’s economy.

During a visit with the Emir of Lafia,Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad (rtd),Tinubu praised Sule‍ for his effective management of state resources,which has garnered confidence from the federal government and international investors. Tinubu⁣ acknowledged the Emir’s foresight, recalling the ⁣Emir’s prediction during the 2023 campaign that Tinubu would return as president.

The Emir lauded Tinubu’s leadership, noting that his achievements as governor of ⁢Lagos⁢ are ⁢now being reflected nationally. He expressed confidence that ‌Nigeria would achieve greatness under Tinubu’s leadership and pledged his full support.

Tinubu⁣ commissioned several‍ projects, including a flyover and road‍ interchange in ⁢Lafia, emphasizing that thes infrastructure projects were⁣ completed without​ incurring debt.⁢ He also inaugurated the new state secretariat,roads,tractors for mechanized farming,and vehicles for security agencies.

Sule greeted Tinubu at the Lafia Airport and guided him through the ‍project⁢ sites. The state government stated that these projects aim to⁣ position Nasarawa⁤ for rapid development and attract investors.

Addressing a crowd, Tinubu pledged to⁣ prioritize the‍ youth and future‌ generations.
