NEW DELHI: The Sports activities Ministry has prepared to FIFA and AFC in search of permission for Gokulam Kerala FC and ATK Mohun Bagan to enjoy in AFC tournaments. With FIFA banning the All India Soccer Federation (AIFF), Indian clubs are unable to play in overseas nations.
The ban will come after the Gokulam women’s team arrived in Uzbekistan for the AFC Championship. With this, Gokulam are not able to take part in the matches on 23rd and 26th of this month. Adhering to this, the Ministry of Sports activities has sent a letter to FIFA and AFC inquiring for quick intervention. ATK also have a recreation in the AFC Cup on September 7.
Officials stated the Athletics Ministry is in touch with the Gokulam women’s staff in Uzbekistan and has directed the embassy to deliver the necessary aid.
