Bianpa Tsering is the party branch secretary of Danjielin Community, Barkhor Street, Lhasa, Tibet. He told reporters that 10 years ago, he had participated in the celebration meeting to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the peaceful liberation of Tibet. It is a great honor to participate in the 70th anniversary celebration again today. He said: “In the past 70 years, the economy, politics, and culture of Tibet have undergone earth-shaking changes. The 63-year-old Bianjue is from Linzhou County in Lhasa and currently lives in Nizhuolin Community in Lhasa. He said that listening to his parents talked about the life before Tibet’s peaceful liberation, it was in sharp contrast with today’s life.

Bian Jue said: “Life was not so good before liberation, but it gradually improved after liberation. There have been great changes (in all aspects). I am very happy to participate in this meeting. I thank the Party Central Committee.”

Mima Ciren, a second-year high school student from Lhasa Middle School, is from Shannan, Tibet. He said that it was the first time that he participated in such an important conference and felt very honored.

Mi Ma Tsering said: “I didn’t have such an opportunity when I was in Shannan before. I feel very honored. In the future, I want to enter a good university and contribute to the construction of the motherland.”

Zhang Chunmei, a teacher of the Party School of the Tibet Autonomous Region, believes that after 70 years of development, Tibet’s human rights cause has made all-round progress and historic achievements, and the legitimate rights and interests of the people of all ethnic groups in Tibet can be effectively protected.

Zhang Chunmei said: “Compared with 1951, Tibet has made great progress in all aspects, including human rights. In the old society, many people did not have freedom, and it was even more difficult to talk about the legal system to protect personal rights. In the new era, we can pass the legal system and Other legal means to protect one’s own rights and interests is a very big progress.”

Wei Sang, director of the Military Ward of the General Hospital of the Tibet Military Region, is a new-era Tibetan military doctor who lives under the red flag.
