The post-mortem report revealed a shocking amount of drugs in the baby’s body, equivalent to what would typically be lethal for ten individuals.

As discrepancies emerged between the mother’s statement and the official findings, she eventually confessed to the crime following further questioning. She acknowledged being excessively fatigued on the day of the incident and confessed to attempting to drug herself in order to attain some much-needed rest.
