Former US President Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, stated that “America’s biggest problem right now is nuclear weapons.”
Former President Trump held a town hall event in La Crosse, Wisconsin, a swing state, following his campaign speech in Michigan on the 29th (local time), and answered questions related to security in this way.
Trump continued, “Nuclear weapons have unprecedented destructive power, and we must make sure that they are never used.”
He said, “There are five countries with a lot of nuclear weapons, including the US and Russia,” and “If (the US) doesn’t have a smart president, they will catch up (with the US) in five to 10 years.”
He also spoke about Vice President Harris’ first in-depth interview with CNN today.
“We do it live, she does it on tape,” he taunted.
Trump noted that “she (Harris) didn’t seem to negotiate with Xi Jinping or Kim Jong Un (in a presidential manner) the way we did.”
