The attack, which occurred just hours before the Sugar Bowl kickoff, sent shockwaves through the city and the nation.

“When I said that the criminals coming in are far worse than the criminals we have in our country, that statement was constantly refuted by Democrats and the Fake News Media, but it turned out to be true,” President-elect Donald Trump said in a statement released Wednesday. “The crime rate in our country is at a level that nobody has ever seen before.”

The attack has left the city reeling, with residents and visitors alike struggling to comprehend the senseless violence.

“This is a tragedy that will forever be etched in the memory of our city,” said New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell. “Our hearts are with the victims and their families, and we will do everything in our power to support them during this difficult time.”

As the examination continues, the nation watches with heavy hearts, hoping for answers and praying for the victims and their families.
