Trump on Iran: Retaliation Warning & Israel Strike Denial
Trump Warns Iran amid Escalating Conflict with Israel
Former President Donald Trump issued a stern warning to Iran on Sunday, stating that any attack on the United States would be met with an unparalleled military response. His statement comes as tensions escalate between Iran and Israel, with both nations exchanging aerial attacks.
In a post on Truth Social, trump asserted that the U.S. had no involvement in Israel’s recent strikes within Iran. He also proposed a potential resolution: a deal between Iran and Israel to de-escalate the conflict and address Iran’s nuclear program.
“The U.S.had nothing to do with the attack on Iran, tonight,” Trump said. “If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the U.S.Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before. Though, we can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel, and end this bloody conflict!!!”
The exchange of attacks followed Israeli strikes that killed several Iranian generals. Iran retaliated with missile strikes.Reports indicate at least 13 people, including children, have died. Israel’s main airport remains closed for a third day.
Israeli officials have also issued warnings to citizens near Iranian nuclear facilities, urging them to evacuate. An IDF spokesperson posted on X, “For your safety, we demand that you promptly evacuate these facilities and not return to them until further notice. Presence near these facilities puts your lives in danger.”
Iranian state media reported that tehran launched approximately 50 ballistic missiles at Israeli targets on Sunday.
Adding to the tensions, the Iran-linked Iraqi terrorist group Kataib Hezbollah threatened to target U.S. interests in the region if the U.S. intervenes in the conflict. The group stated they are “closely monitoring the movements of the American enemy’s military in the region.”
Iran has confirmed the deaths of several high-ranking generals, including Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh, in the recent strikes.
