Trump Ukraine President Winning Strategy
Trump: It’s Time to Finish Putin’s Axis of Resistance
The ongoing conflict in Ukraine presents a stark choice for the United States and its allies: continued, decisive support for Kyiv or a descent into a world shaped by Russian President Vladimir putin’s aggressive ambitions. The grim reality of Ukrainian soldiers, returned from captivity in a starved and tortured state, underscores the existential threat Ukraine faces. For Ukraine, surrender or conquest equates to extermination. To avert this catastrophe and secure a more stable global order, enhanced military, economic, and political assistance is not merely beneficial, but imperative.
The recent U.S. participation in the “Coalition of the Willing” meeting marks a positive stride, signaling crucial support to allies and a clear message to Putin.Though, former President Donald Trump has a unique possibility to amplify this message and decisively dismantle Putin’s “Axis of Resistance.”
A critical first step would be for Trump to champion legislation, such as that proposed by Senators Lindsey Graham and Richard blumenthal, imposing stringent sanctions on Russia and nations that continue to purchase Russian hydrocarbon products.Together, the full spectrum of available Western weaponry must be expedited to Ukraine. Crucially, restrictions on targeting military installations within the Russian Federation should be lifted. A high-priority target set must include the factories producing the Shahed drones, instruments of terror currently employed against Ukrainian civilians.
Beyond immediate military aid, a strategic re-evaluation of Putin’s global network is essential. The so-called “Axis of Resistance” is showing significant cracks. In December 2024, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, a key pillar of this axis, saw his government teeter on the brink, forcing his flight to Moscow. Since October 2023, Israel has effectively neutralized key Axis surrogates like Hamas and Hezbollah. The U.S. has also taken direct action, striking Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen. furthermore, Israel’s precision strikes in June against Iran’s nuclear program, military leadership, and critical infrastructure demonstrate a potent capability to disrupt the axis.
The U.S. joining israel in these strikes against Iranian nuclear targets signifies a powerful commitment to confronting a critical member of Putin’s alliance. Notably, these actions against Putin’s axis have elicited minimal response from the Kremlin, highlighting russia’s current limitations. Putin’s axis is demonstrably in disarray.
Russia’s military is deeply entrenched in the Ukraine conflict, leaving Moscow with severely diminished capacity for broader intervention. Estimates suggest Russia has sustained a million casualties – killed, wounded, captured, or missing – in Ukraine, all for the marginal gain of a few hundred kilometers of territory. The economic toll on Russia has been equally devastating. Within Russia, the unexplained deaths and suicides of regime officials and oligarchs, even those perceived as loyal to Putin, serve as a chilling reminder that no one is truly safe.
The missing piece in truly dismantling Putin’s destructive agenda is decisive leadership from the U.S. President. Under President biden, Ukraine received just enough support to avoid defeat but not enough to achieve a decisive victory and end the war. President Trump possesses the opportunity to redefine American leadership, demonstrating to the world that he is a president who delivers wins, not just stalemates. It is time to finish Putin’s axis and secure a more peaceful future.
