Irish entertainer Adele King, widely known as Twink, is facing a renewed legal battle to retain possession of her €1.5 million home in Knocklyon, Dublin, after her mortgage lender alleged she failed to maintain monthly repayments.

The case, involving Pepper Finance Corporation, was heard before Dublin County Registrar Patricia Hickey on Thursday, April 23, 2026. Neither King nor her ex-husband David Agnew appeared in court for the proceedings.

Hickey adjourned the matter until early July to allow King and Agnew time to consider their legal position, a move agreed upon by counsel for Pepper Finance, Mason Napier of Lavelle Partners Solicitors.

The property in question, Idrone House on Idrone Avenue, was purchased in 2002 with the assistance of a €200,000 loan from Bank of Scotland. Over time, the original mortgage and a subsequent €30,000 loan have been transferred among various lenders, ultimately coming under the management of Pepper Finance.

King, 74, and Agnew have been engaged in legal disputes with financial institutions for nearly two decades in an effort to prevent repossession of the listed mansion. Their ongoing struggle has included multiple court appearances and negotiations with successive lenders.

Twink, a prominent figure in Irish entertainment known for her work in television, pantomime, and broadcasting, has maintained her residence at the property throughout the prolonged legal challenges. The current action by Pepper Finance represents the latest development in a long-running effort to secure the home against repossession claims.
