Two Kyoda “Do you have an alter ego”?

Keito Mori was replaced in the middle due to a header hit by a pitch.

At DeNA spring camp, an unexpected “rare event” occurred. On the 11th, in the 1st Army inter-division game held in Ginowan City, Okinawa, infielder Keito Mori of the White Team was hit in the head by a ball and was substituted. Infielder Yota Kyoda took the defense. However, since he originally participated in the Red Team’s “2nd Yugeki”, there are two Kyodas on the scoreboard. Fans commented on the unexpected event, “I’m worried about Mori, but I’m happy that Kyoda is doing his best,” and “I wonder what he’ll do when Kyoda hits the bat.”

In the first inning with one out, Yuya Sakamoto’s ball hits the head directly on Mori’s turn to bat. Mori crouched down on the spot and then walked to the bench alone. As Ryutaku Shibata was already appointed at third base and Takuma Hayashi at second base, Kyoda was also a shortstop for the red and white forces.

In the unexpected situation, “What’s wrong with Mr. DeNA?” “I wonder if Mori is okay…” and “I hope he’s not injured.”
