“During this long holiday, the tourism situation will have many positive developments, especially with the international market. The number of visitors to Da Nang is expected to be about 340,000, an increase of more than 5% compared to last year. International visitors also increased, mainly from the markets of Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines…”, Ms. An said.
Particularly in the domestic market, due to a shortage of flights, the number of passengers will decrease by more than 25% compared to the same period last year.

From next July, Singapore Airlines will increase to 2 flights per day; In September 2024, Malaysia’s national airline will operate the Da Nang – Kuala Lumpur route; Cebu Pacific increases Manila – Da Nang flights.
“The tourism industry is also actively working with travel businesses and airlines specializing in exploiting markets in China such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau to find charter flights to Da Nang in the context of The Chinese tourist scene has not yet fully recovered,” Ms. An informed.
