1. Acceptance of Terms

Applicants must ​comply with these ​Terms and Conditions when applying for this Project. Applicants may not⁣ apply for this Project unless they agree to these Terms and Conditions.

If the‌ Applicant is a minor, he/she must obtain the consent of​ a legal guardian such as‍ a parent or ‍guardian before applying for this Project. In addition, if the Applicant‌ is applying for this Project on behalf of a business, the business must ‍also⁢ agree to these Terms and Conditions before using⁣ the Service.

2. Scope

When applying for this project, in addition to these Terms and Conditions, you must ⁣also abide by ​the “LINE Manga Indies⁢ Guidelines” and the “LINE Manga ⁣Terms of ‍Use”.

In the event of any inconsistency between the‍ Terms of Service, etc.‍ and these Terms, these Terms shall take precedence.

3. Changes to the⁣ Terms

If the Company ⁣deems it necessary, ‍the Company may modify these Terms within the ‍scope of the ​purpose of these Terms.

The modified⁢ Terms shall come into effect from‌ the⁣ effective date.

4. Application Conditions

Applicants may submit a manga that they have written themselves (only​ completed manuscripts are accepted; namecards are not accepted) as ​their entry into this Contest⁢ through “LINE Manga Indies”.

Once ⁢an Applicant has agreed to these Terms and Conditions, he/she may ⁣not cancel ​his/her application for this Project.

Applicants may apply for this⁤ Campaign only during the period in which this Campaign is being held⁤ by our company,‌ in‍ accordance with the methods specified by⁢ our company.

5. Contents of the⁢ submitted work

Submissions to this ⁤competition must be manga that the entrant has personally created.

Submissions‌ are prohibited from containing content that violates laws, regulations, or‌ public order and‌ morals, libels others, or that the Company deems inappropriate, or that infringes on the intellectual property rights of a third party.

6. Conditions for payment of rewards

This project will pay ⁣rewards to applicants at a later date ‌based on⁤ the performance indicators for each submitted work for one month.

An individual may submit any number of works to this Project, however, the cash ⁤reward will only be paid to the work‌ with the highest total cash reward amount ⁣in the month of submission.

7. Process for award payment

Rewards will ⁣be paid via LINE Pay.

Applicants who are eligible for the cash reward will receive an email between the ​15th and 20th of the month following the month of application, to the email address registered when registering as an artist, with instructions on how to receive the cash‌ reward.

8. Rights of submitted ⁣works

Applicants will retain all intellectual property rights they may have in their submitted works, ‌and the Company will not ‌acquire any such rights.

By applying to this​ Project, Applicants​ grant to the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free,⁢ and unlimited right to use the ​Applied Works for the purpose of promoting and advertising the Company, the Service, this Project, etc.

9. ‍Privacy

We respect the⁣ privacy of our applicants.

We take the utmost care regarding information security in order to safely manage the information obtained from applicants.

10. Cancellation or change of ‍this project

If the Company deems ⁤it necessary to⁤ cancel or suspend ⁣the Promotion due to system maintenance at the Company, failure of communication lines or means of⁣ communication, computer, or other reasons, the Company reserves ​the right to cancel or suspend the Promotion without prior notice to applicants.

11.⁢ End of​ application period for this project

We may close the acceptance of applications for this project without prior notice to applicants.

12. Prohibited matters

The Company prohibits customers from engaging in the following acts in relation to the Service:

• Any act violating laws, regulations, court rulings, decisions⁣ or orders, or legally binding administrative measures
• Any act that may be contrary to the public order or good morals
• Any act that⁣ infringes the copyrights,​ trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property ⁣rights, reputational rights, privacy rights,‌ or other legal or contractual rights⁢ of the Company‍ or any third‌ party.

13. Responsibilities of Applicants

Applicants shall apply for this Project at their own risk and shall be fully responsible ​for all actions taken by the Applicant in connection ⁣with their application for this Project and the consequences thereof.

14. Disclaimer of Liability

Except ‍in cases where the ‌damage is caused by the Company’s ​willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Company shall not be liable⁤ for any damage, whether direct or indirect, suffered by the Applicant as a result of applying for⁤ or being‍ unable to apply for this Project.

15. Relationship between these Terms​ and ⁢Laws

If​ any provision of these Terms and ​Conditions is found to be in violation​ of the Consumer Contract Act or other laws and regulations applicable to‍ the ⁢contract between you and our ⁣company⁤ regarding your application for this project, such provision shall not apply to the contract with ⁤you to that‌ extent.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The official text of these​ terms and conditions is in Japanese and the governing law is Japanese law.

Any disputes between the applicant⁣ and the Company arising from or related to the application for this project ⁣or this service shall be subject to the exclusive ⁤jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as⁣ the court of ‍first instance.
