US House Prices Surge by 6.6% in November, Highest Increase in 11 Months

[ニューヨーク 30日 ロイター] – The US Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) announced on the 30th that the US November house price index (seasonally adjusted) increased by 6.6% compared to the same month last year, stating the biggest increase in the last 11 months. This was a sign of continued recovery in the housing market.

This was the strongest growth since December 2022 (up 6.8%). It rose 6.3% last month.

The month-on-month increase in November was 0.3%, which is the same rate of increase as in October.

Compared to the previous year, prices increased in all regions. The most notable increases were in New England (up 9.8%) and the Northeast Central states (up 9.1%).
