On the afternoon of March 28th, Beijing time, the 2022 World Table Tennis Major League (WTT) Star Challenge Doha Station will start the competition on the next day. In the men’s singles 1/16 final just ended on the No. 1 field, the 23-year-old Chinese boy Xue Fei faced his peers, Dakko Jochik from Slovenia. 11-9, 11-3 and 11-9) beat the opponent to advance.
After 2 draws in the first game, Xue Fei took the initiative by scoring 3 points in a row. After that, Yochik used his serving round to tie the score. After that, the two chased after each other. In the third game, Jochik changed his slow-heating problems before and led 6-1 in the middle game. In the middle game, Xue Fei once narrowed the difference to only 1 point. When the score became 8-7, the Slovenian called a timeout. After the timeout, the two got into a fight. After 9 draws, Xue Fei scored consecutive backhands, sealed the victory 11-9, and successfully advanced to the top 16.
In the next 1/8 finals, Xue Fei will face the winner between Croatian Puka and American Kanak.
