The Accident Details
The accident involved a 79-year-old Vince McMahon and another driver, identified as Doran.According to Doran’s account,McMahon’s Bentley was traveling at high speeds,weaving in and out of traffic. Doran described being hit from behind by McMahon’s vehicle, which then propelled both cars off the road.
“He hit me going 80-90mph as I drove in the right lane of the narrow merritt Highway,” Doran stated. “I and the dog are mostly fine, but was lucky to have kept control of the car, more or less, as I shot off the road after being catapulted over 100 yards.”
Doran further explained that an “unmarked state trooper” had been following McMahon. The trooper informed Doran that McMahon had swerved to avoid hitting her directly,but the impact still caused significant damage. “Both front wheels of McMahon’s Bentley were sheared off and his airbags deployed, probably saving him from significant injury,” Doran added. “The trooper told me afterwards that McMahon saw me last minute and swerved, smashing into my left rear, but that if he had hit me full on, there might’ve been a very different ending for me.”
McMahon was afterward issued a misdemeanor summons for reckless driving and following too closely, resulting in an accident. He is scheduled to appear in court later next month.

The accident comes during a tumultuous period for Vince McMahon, who has faced numerous allegations and stepped down from his leadership roles at WWE. In June 2022, he resigned as CEO and chairman following allegations of sexual misconduct and hush-money payments.
