Wael Jassar Reveals the Truth About His Dispute with Mariam Fares

Lebanese artist Wael Jasser has revealed the truth about his feud with his compatriot Mariam Fares, after reports surfaced that they had previously fallen out over the song she performed at the World Cup in Qatar.

During his interview with Vito, Wael Zasser said: “There is absolutely no disagreement between me and Mariam Fares, but I had differences with her in some aspects, but she is a good singer and has a special character.”

Wael Jasser also revealed the reason behind his request to George Wassuf to retire from the industry, insisting that he asked him to do so due to his health condition.

During his interview with “Veto” Wael Jasser said: “I talked a lot about the retirement of the Sultan of Tarab, George Wassuf, and I interviewed him in Canada and he understood at that time the reasons why I asked him to retire.”
