WEDNESDAY SEASON 3 SET PHOTOS REVEAL JENNA ORTEGA’S NEW BLACK OUTFIT AND PARIS FILMING LOCATION

Newly released set photos from the production of Wednesday Season 3 have confirmed that filming is underway in Paris, France, marking a significant shift in location for the Netflix series. The images show Jenna Ortega reprising her role as Wednesday Addams in a new all-black outfit, featuring a long coat and flared trousers, while maintaining her signature hairstyle. The photos were shared amid ongoing production activities in the French capital, with director Tim Burton and co-star Fred Armisen also spotted on set.

According to reports from ComingSoon.net, the set sightings include Ortega alongside Burton and Armisen, with filming taking place near the River Seine. The images also confirm the presence of the series’ iconic motorcycle, complete with its sidepod, which was previously featured in Season 2. Victor Dorobantu, who portrays the sentient hand Thing, was seen perched on the motorcycle in the newly released stills.

Netflix officially released a first-look image from the season on social media, depicting Wednesday standing beneath the Eiffel Tower beside the motorcycle and Thing. The post was accompanied by the caption “From Paris, with dread,” signaling the show’s shift to the French capital. The image aligns with the set photos circulating online, which show Ortega in her updated wardrobe during outdoor shoots.

Production on Wednesday Season 3 began in February 2026, with several new cast members joining the ensemble. Eva Green has been cast as Aunt Ophelia, alongside Winona Ryder, Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy, James Lance, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan, and Kennedy Moyer. Returning cast members include Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, and Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams. The roles of the new additions have not yet been disclosed by the production.

The narrative direction of Season 3 is expected to follow up on the events of Season 2, which concluded with Wednesday departing in Uncle Fester’s motorcycle sidecar alongside Thing to search for Enid Sinclair, who had fled into the wilderness after becoming trapped in her werewolf form. However, no official plot details have been released by Netflix or the show’s creators as of mid-April 2026.

The series, developed by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, continues to be executive produced and directed by Tim Burton. In a recent interview with Tudum, Gough emphasized that the creative team’s goal for Season 3 is to deepen character exploration while expanding the world of Nevermore Academy and Wednesday’s personal journey. No official release date has been announced for the upcoming season.
