Studies show that cancer patients are more likely to develop diabetes. The study was conducted by the Steno Diabetes Center in Copenhagen and the University of Copenhagen. The study was published in Diabetes Care. The study also found that cancer patients with diabetes die faster than non-diabetics.

Cancer is the leading cause of death in Denmark, with a population of about 6 million. In 2019 alone, more than 45,000 cancer cases were detected. The latest statistics report that there has been a significant increase in cancer survival in Denmark. However, researchers say that long-term effects and complications reduce the quality of life of many survivors.

Studies show that they help prevent cancer by stopping the growth of free radicals in our body.

The study is based on the use of epidemiological data from the Coplab database maintained by the Center for General Practice in the Department of Public Health at the University of Copenhagen.

“Our study shows that a person has a higher risk of developing diabetes if they have lung, pancreatic, breast, brain, urinary tract or cervical cancer,” said Like Silo, a researcher.

The researchers examined extensive data containing 112 million blood samples. More than 50,000 of them developed cancer. The researchers also looked at why certain types of cancer are associated with an increased risk of developing diabetes.

Various cancer treatments may increase the risk. Cancer itself can affect other parts of the body. We know that cancer cells can secrete substances that affect the organs. Researchers also say that cats need to be included in any precautionary measures against the virus.
