Yana Andreeva, a pediatrician at the Leleka multidisciplinary medical center, said that it is better to cook for schoolchildren for breakfast and give it to school, writes NV.

The morning sets the tone for the entire day, so it is important to start it with a balanced breakfast. This could be an omelet, boiled eggs, vegetables, oatmeal with fruit, meat, cod liver, etc.

It is better to avoid breakfast with sandwiches and flour products, because frequent consumption of these dishes leads to intestinal dysfunction, stomach pain and other gastrointestinal problems.

The doctor advises looking for a healthy alternative. For example, pancakes can be made with coconut or banana flour, buns with flaxseed flour, and sandwiches can be made with whole grain bread with meat instead of sausage.

What to give a student to school with him

It is important that the children’s diet includes a variety of foods with a full range of vitamins and microelements. Therefore, the menu should include meat, fish, and necessarily vegetables, cereals, foods rich in calcium, etc.

Create different combinations of products, a “multi-colored” plate, then the baby will not have health problems.

In modern realities, do not forget about snacks during times of anxiety. For such cases, put healthy snacks in your backpack – nuts, dried fruits, cookies and water.

Try not to give your child sweets or unhealthy snacks. It is important to accustom schoolchildren to healthy and nutritious food. If you choose goodies, it is better to prefer natural products, for example, replace chocolates with fruits. Don’t forget that fruits also contain fructose, so their consumption should also be controlled. If you can’t do without sweets, look for alternative recipes. For example, you can make sweets using coconut paste or dried fruits.

What drink should I give my child to school?

Children often refuse to drink plain, clean water. However, the drinking regime is no less important than the food regime. From childhood, you should teach your baby to drink water and monitor his daily fluid requirement. You can calculate the required amount using the formula: the child’s weight multiplied by 30 ml.

The student should be given clean water with him, because juices and carbonated drinks, as a rule, are not natural and can be harmful to the body. If you still buy sweet water from time to time, be sure to pay attention to the composition and try to avoid sugar and preservatives.

After the holidays, it is difficult for schoolchildren to adapt to a new schedule and early awakenings. Let us remind you how parents can teach their children to wake up earlier.
