Famed manager Jose Mourinho has revealed the reason why he was unable to lead Manchester United to Premier League success until he was sacked in 2018.
“When you have the support of those in power, From the club’s executives There will be good signs for the group of players as well,” said the Portuguese boss.
“But when you don’t have Cause support the players are more important. Or is what the player brings to the table more important? You will be in a vulnerable position. Even in my case, I’m a coach with a lot of experience.”
Mourinho managed Manchester United from 2016-2018 and led the team to a double. By winning the League Cup and Europa League in 2017 before being fired a year later.
