Mayor Park said at an official press conference for the ‘2022 MLB World Series Korea Tour’ held at Busan City Hall on the 19th, “Lee Dae-ho is a symbolic player. Mr.
Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) President Huh Gu-yeon also said, “The KBO team will decide the list of players, but the KBO Technical Committee will decide Lee Dae-ho’s participation.
He continued, “Lee Dae-ho’s participation in the show carries many symbols,” he said.
Realistically, the possibility is slim, but the stage of the World Baseball Classic (WBC) held in March next year could be the last for Lee Dae-ho.
Up to the 19th, Lee Dae-ho ranks second in the KBO League in batting average (0.339), tied for eighth in home runs (20), and seventh in RBI (88 points).
