The Prosecutor’s Office Morelos obtained a conviction against Sergio “N”, who acknowledged his responsibility for the crime of robbery qualified with toy gun committed in a convenience store located in the municipality of Jiutepec.
Sergio “N” accepted that on April 2, 2023 he entered the branch of a commercial chain located on Lauro Ortega Street, in the Otilio Montaño neighborhood, where he went to the counter carrying a toy with the characteristics of a firearm. with which he threatened an employee to give him the money from the sales, as well as bottles of liquor and then fled aboard a motorcycle.

Police officers located the alleged perpetrator on a street adjacent to the establishment, arresting Sergio “N”, 23 years old, person who was carrying a backpack with the stolen merchandise, and through the query carried out in the Platform Mexico System, it was learned that the motorcycle he was driving had a current theft report.
Sergio was placed at the disposal of the MP, an authority that brought him before the supervisory judge for the crimes of qualified robbery and possession of a vehicle of illicit origin, being linked to proceedings for both. And in the intermediate hearing, he availed himself of a mechanism to accelerate the process, accepting his participation in the accused crimes.
In an abbreviated procedure hearing, he was sentenced to six months and 20 days in prison, 16 days of community service, and the corresponding fine for the crime of qualified robbery.
