WTI Oil Prices Fall as Ceasefire Negotiations Begin between Israel and Hamas

InfoQuest – WTI oil prices fell today. After there were reports of ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas.

Israel is preparing to send a delegation to Cairo, Egypt. to negotiate with Hamas over a proposed new ceasefire aimed at freeing hostages held in the Gaza Strip.

Israel also agreed to reduce the number of hostages it wanted to release to 33, instead of demanding that Hamas release at least 40 hostages.

Investors will be keeping an eye on the American Petroleum Institute (API) crude oil stocks release today ahead of the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) release tomorrow.
