Hikuleo Makes WWE Debut at Night of Champions, Sides With Sikoa

hikuleo, a former New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) star, made a surprise appearance at WWE’s Night of Champions event in saudi Arabia, impacting the United States Title match. The 6-foot-8 wrestler,previously associated with Bullet Club and Guerrillas of Destiny,had reportedly signed with WWE in July 2024.
his debut came during the United States Title match between Jacob Fatu and solo Sikoa. After Tonga Loa interfered on Sikoa’s behalf, Hikuleo emerged to further aid Sikoa, costing Fatu the title.
WWE boss Triple H acknowledged the controversial win on X, writing, “By any means necessary…#WWENOC.”
Commentators Michael Cole and Wade Barrett avoided using Hikuleo’s name, suggesting a potential change. Barrett, however, praised Hikuleo’s size and presence.
Before joining WWE, Hikuleo competed in NJPW, where he held the Strong Openweight Tag Team Championship twice with El Phantasmo and also won the IWPT Tag Team Titles. He is also a former strong Openweight Champion and has wrestled for TNA and All Elite Wrestling.
