Microsoft Plans to Launch Next-Generation Xbox Console by 2026

Contrary to previous reports suggesting the next generation of PlayStation and Xbox devices would be released in 2028 or 2030, a new report indicates that Microsoft will launch the next-generation Xbox console by 2026, according to trusted sources.

Journalist Jez Corden’s sources from the Windows Central website reveal that Microsoft has big plans to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the founding of the Xbox gaming division. This milestone will take place on November 15, 2026, and may coincide with the introduction of a new generation of Xbox consoles.

We plan to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Halo and Xbox – we have a very rich heritage and history, and these communities have been active for a long time and you should celebrate that.”
