Xi Jinping’s Important Expositions on Political Army-Building in the New Era
The Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission has compiled and printed the “Selected Collection of Important Expositions of Xi Jinping on Political Army-building in the New Era” to help senior officers comprehensively study and understand President Xi’s important expositions on political army-building in the new era.
The “Selected Collection” includes 89 manuscripts of Comrade Xi Jinping on the construction of the political army from the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, reflecting the political construction of the new era, development context, rich connotation, needs of the times, and practical path of military strategy.
Implementation of the Spirit of the Political Work Conference
The Central Military Commission has issued a notice requiring the entire army to fully implement the spirit of the Political Work Conference, conscientiously organize the study and use of “Selected Editions”, and promote the deepening and consolidation of political army building.
The notice emphasizes the importance of persisting in reading the original works, studying the original texts, and understanding the principles. It also stresses the need to use learning to build the soul, increase wisdom, rectify style, and promote cadres.
Deepening Educational Practice Activities
The notice requires the incorporation of the study of the “Selected Edition” into the study of the theoretical study center group of the Party Committee, ideological and political education of the army, and teaching of political theory in colleges and universities.
It also emphasizes the need to organize theoretical training rotations for cadres and specific training for political cadres at different levels, highlighting the “Selected Edition” as an important content.
