“International Cooperation in an Emerging Infectious Disease Crisis”… Adoption of the Seoul Declaration

The seventh ministerial meeting of the ‘Global Health Security Initiative’ held in Seoul, hosted by the government, ended today (30th) and adopted a joint response statement.

The Seoul Declaration, adopted with the participation of health authorities from 27 countries and 10 international organizations, shared best practices in the public health crisis caused by infectious diseases and established the Global Health Security Initiative Coordinating Office in Seoul.

This ‘Global Health Security Initiative’ was held as the first face-to-face meeting in four years after the COVID-19, and was set to discuss ways to strengthen the international health security response system to prepare for infectious diseases new.
