South Korea-U.S. Foreign Ministers Meeting in Rome… “Sincere discussions on the declaration of an end to the war”

South Korea and the United States held a foreign ministers’ meeting in Rome, Italy, where the G20 summit was held in 20 major countries.

The two Ministers shared the importance of stable management of the situation on the Korean Peninsula and had serious discussions on ways to resume the peace process on the Korean Peninsula at an early stage, including a declaration of an end to the Korean War.

He added that he evaluated that the strong ROK-U.S. alliance is developing into a comprehensive global alliance to resolve global issues such as ‘supply chain disruption’ and response to COVID-19 beyond regional cooperation in Northeast Asia and the Indo-Pacific region.
