Coronavirus re-spreading in the U.S. in earnest… An average of 90,000 new cases per day

Following Europe, COVID-19 has begun to spread again in earnest in the United States.

The New York Times reported that as of the 19th local time, the average daily number of new coronavirus cases in the United States for the past 7 days increased by 30% from two weeks ago to 93,000, reaching 90,000 for two days in a row.

This re-spreading of the corona is mainly occurring in the northern and northeastern parts of the Midwest where the weather is cold.

Health experts have warned that the worst-case scenario could be repeated last winter, with 300,000 new cases per day.
