檢 seeks arrest warrant for ‘Terra Luna co-founder’ Shin Hyun-seong

The Seoul South District Prosecutor’s Office announced on the 27th that it has re-applied for an arrest warrant for former CEO Shin in the case of investment fraud in financial investment products related to the Terra Coin blockchain-based business.

Former CEO Shin was found guilty of fraudulent illegal transactions and breach of conspiracy regulations under the Capital Market Business and Financial Investment Act, fraud and breach of trust under the Act on Aggravated Punishment of Certain Economic Crimes, breach of the Financial Transactions Act Electronic, and breaching the Act on Reporting and Using Certain Financial Transaction Information, etc. , and has been charged with breach of trust and breach of trust under the Criminal Act.

This is the second time the prosecution has requested an arrest warrant for Shin. The prosecution previously requested an arrest warrant for former CEO Shin in December last year, but the court rejected it.

Shin is the co-founder of Terraform Labs, publisher of Terra and Luna.
