Until November this year, statistics showed that apartment prices across the country fell the most since the foreign exchange crisis.
According to a survey by KB Kookmin Bank, a real estate market research institute, apartment prices across the country fell 1.63% until last month, the biggest drop in 24 years since a 13.56% fall in 1998.
In a national housing price trend survey by another research organization, the Korea Real Estate Agency, apartment prices across the country fell 4.79% cumulatively between this year and last month.
This is the biggest drop since December 2003, when real estate agents started looking into apartment prices.
